Complete list of 2019 Grammy award winners

The Grammys were handed-out on Sunday February 10, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Musical arts, who dominated the music scene past 2018 came in their numbers as potential winners, called-on presenters and performers for the 61st show.

Not only did big names walk away with a Grammy at the end, but history was made in some categories taking into consideration the routine of winners through-out the previous 60 editions of Grammy shows. First time winner Cardi won best rap album for Invasion of Privacy, making her the first solo woman to win the coveted category. Childish Gambino’s ‘This Is America’ took home the song of the year and record of the year, thus setting the records straight for the first rap song to ever win in such categories.

The biggest win of the night ‘Album of the Year’ was awarded to country music artist Kacey Musgraves, who swept away four wins in all including best country solo performance, best country song and best country album. Drake won best rap song for God’s Plan, whiles Lady Gaga and Bradley cooper won best pop duo performance for Shallow.
