Rihanna is going for the full package now! The Work singer is set to launch her own luxury brand under her own name.
According to reports, the pop singer/fashion icon is partnering with LVMH to help recruit a team of fashion thinkers and makers from in-house fashion houses such as Louis Vuitton and Celine, to staff the new fashion house, which will incorporate ready-to-wear, leather goods and accessories.
Rihanna’s partnership with LVMH is no new subject in the world of fashion, since both brands have been in working relationship since the launch of Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty, considering the fact that it was created with LVMH owned beauty brand incubator Kendo. If success is made with the Rihanna fashion house, it would be the first that LVMH has launched from inception since Christian Lacroix in 1987.
Spotted earlier this week wearing an oversize sunglasses with Fenty spelled out across her forehead have sparked up rumors among the RiRi fan base that it is a teaser from her upcoming collection. As good as the news might sound, the singer is yet to go public with it.
