Michael Jackson’s first moonwalk socks to go on auction for $2 million

The King of pop music, Michael Jackson is still counting the million dollars even in death. The most won America Music Awards artist’s first moonwalk socks are set to go on auction worth $2 million.

The said pair of socks was first worn by Michael during his performance of ‘Bilie Jean’ in the 1983 TV special, ‘Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever’. As part of the socks auction coming up, Michael’s signed letter to the late Frank Dileo, who first discovered him in the music space and signed him on the Epic records managed by him from 1984-1989.

The auction will run from November 13 -22, 2019.

Prior to his death on June 25, 2009, MJ ruled the world of pop music from his sold-out concerts through to his electrifying stage performances that drew millions of crowds from around the world. Ten years down the line after his death, his name and reputation remain an open chapter for many to learn from.
