Entertainment Analyst, Bertrand Turkson, popularly known as Nana Turkson has passed on.
According to reports, Nana was rushed to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital on Tuesday morning after he complained of having body pains, but unfortunately could not be saved and as a result died in the afternoon. His Junior brother, Ato Turkson, who rushed him to the hospital broke the news to myjoyonline.com via whatsApp saying,
“It is with a heavy heart and pain that I break this sad news and announce the death of my brother Nana Turkson. He died this afternoon at Korle-Bu. The family of the late pundit is also in shock. In due course further details will be communicated,” said Ato.
News about his death has left a vacuum in the entertainment industry as some key players in the industry have shared their last moments with the deceased.
“Gone too soon Nana…the last time I saw you was brief and I even had to scream your name from afar just to say hi. I remember that brief moment so well because your warmth always had that impact on people. Condolences to the family…here today gone tomorrow,” wrote Ameyaw Debrah.
“I hope I showed you in every way that you were deeply loved,” Naa Ashorkor shared.
Nana was last heard on radio on Showbiz A to Z, where he had served as a pundit since 2008, last Saturday with dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale as guest.
