The 2018 edition of the annual International Achievement Recognition Awards (IARA) awards has come to a close with Ghanaian personalities, Zynnell Zuh, Joselyn Dumas and Medikal emerging as some of the top winners of the night.
Zynnell, who recently took home the Glitz Style Awards Movie Personality of the year award won for Best Young Actor, for her performance in the 2017 psychological trailer movie Deranged. Reigning Glitz Style Awards Best Dressed Celebrity on the Red Carpet, Joselyn Dumas also won the Best Actress award for the night with the comedy movie Potato Potahto. Too Risky hit maker, Medikal on the music front won for Ghana as he grabbed the title for the Best African Music Artiste of the Year Award.
Other winners of the night include, 2018 Glitz Style Awards African Style Influencer of the Year winner Bonang Matheba (Best Media Personality), Peter Okoye (Best International Male Artiste), Michael Dapaah (Best Male Artist) and many more.
The event which was hosted by Steve King and Gail Porter took place on Saturday, September 22 at the Hilton Hotel Canary Wharf, Marsh Wall, London, awarded 24 personalities in the showbiz industry, comprising movies, fashion, music and lifestyle. Christoulla Boodram, Kacey Ainsworth, Emma Taylor, Suzan McLean, received the Phenomenal Woman honorary awards for the night in recognition of their ability to use their individual platforms to enhance lives and cause change.
