They say the third time is a charm and that is exactly what happened on 19th April, 2018 at the British Council, Accra. Glitz Africa organized the third annual She Summit – a seminar power-packed with top female personalities sharing their stories and offering tips about how to excel in various fields of endeavour.
Speakers were:
- Nana Oye Lithur (Former Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection) on Gender Empowerment in Ghana – A New Dawn for GH Damsels;
- Michelle Hammond (founder & President of Heart Wing Ministries) inspired attendants with the topic, ‘You’re Enough’;
- Kubi Springer (Brand Specialist based in London) discussed ‘Taking Your Brand Global’;
- Nightingale Rukuba – Ngaiza spoke on ‘Own Your Power’.
There was also a business master class by the National Board of Small Scale Industries (NBSSI) as well two panel discussions. The first one ‘Building a Brand’ had Aisha Ayensu (Creative Director, Christie Brown) Afua Osei of She Leads Africa and Claudia Lumor as panelists.
The second one was themed ‘Do what you love’ with media personality Berla Mundi, Vimbai Mutinhiri and Debra – Jane, CEO of Think Mahogany as panelists.
The ladies had a great time and gave very positive feedback. We can’t wait to do this again next year!
