Prince Charles and Camilla attend state banquet on last night of Ghanaian tour

The royal couple were at Jubilee House in the Ghanaian capital on their last night of their tour.  They were greeted by His Excellency the President Akufo-Addo and First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo.

The President offered a short speech to welcome Their Royal Highness after which Prince Charles responded.

Camilla was resplendent in a pink Anna Valentine evening gown with glittering diamonds. Prince Charles was presented with the Companion of the order of the star of Ghana, honorary division, by The President of Ghana.

They were taken to a glass-topped table laden with native flowers and Perspex candelabras.

After the main course of dinner, Edward Enninful O.B.E., Editor in Chief of British Vogue, introduced a fashion show specifically designed to showcase Ghana’s world-leading role in fashion. Three global designers each showcased three designs from the collections of: Ozwald Boateng O.B.E., Christie Brown, and Adrian Sauvage, alongside three up and coming Ghanaian designers.
