Editor’s Pick: Indigenous Beauty Products

I’m super proud of our indigenous beauty brands creating amazing products to cater for our beauty needs. I try my best to try as many products as I can so as to support the budding industry.

In the Beauty issue of the Glitz Africa magazine, I got to share some of my beauty product discoveries which I’ve come to like very much. They include;

  1. Velma’s Accessories

I’m not a hair band person but Velma’s bands have made me a big fan. You add that to any simple outfit or accessory and you end up looking very glamourous.

  1. RnR Luxury

Their shea oil and black soap products are fantastic for family use. My family uses them and they are great.

  1. Shades by Juliet Ibrahim

It looks very natural and it is very easy to stick on. It’s easy to wear and stays on well.

  1. Evita Joseph (lip gloss league)

It’s really good. The texture is just right for our weather condition and at the moment, it’s one of my favourite and go-to matte lip products. It doesn’t crack.

  1. Black Secret facial wipes

It’s great and spot on for removing makeup. It leaves the skin really clean and fresh.

  1. Skin Gourmet scrub

I enjoyed using the scrub. It leaves the skin really fresh.
