Beauty rituals unlocked whilst on lockdown by EnhancebyEB

During this pandemic, we have been succumbed to staying indoors. With minimum to no access to our beauty stores, we have been struggling to keep up with our ‘oh so important’ beauty rituals. It’s been a struggle…we know.

This is a brilliant time to share some beauty routines that you could do at home whilst waiting to have treatment done by EnhancebyEB. I mean why should your standards slip, right?

  1. Have all your eyelash extensions fallen out yet?

Use this time to grow back those lashes and give them the tender love and care they need after months of attaching eyelash extensions. This can be done by adding castor oil to your daily eye routine to nourish the hair follicles.

Service: Eyelash Extensions: (Classic, Hybrid, Russians, Mega/Glam Russians)

  1. Have you always wanted ‘pinkier’ lush lips?

Try a DIY lip scrub using honey and sugar.

  1. Mix one teaspoon of honey with two teaspoons of sugar.
  2. Massage the mixture into your lips and leave for about 10 minutes.
  • Remove with a wet face cloth.

Sugar is an effective natural exfoliant. When mixed with honey, it becomes a great moisturising lip scrub.

Just before you go to bed, apply some ‘pink lip enhancement’ by EnhancebyEB. Most of the ingredients are natural other than the active ingredient alpha arbutin, which gently lifts the lip colour. The great thing about this product is you can control the colour of how pink you desire your lips to be. Brilliant right?

  1. Feeling lethargic, weak and tired?

I recommend you increase your vitamin B12 intake. You may be wondering, what is the significance of keeping up on your intake on Vitamin B12? Well, it is a nutrient that not only helps to maintain healthy nerves and blood cells, but can also aid with anaemia. You can absorb the vitamin through food or you could get a vitamin B12 shot from us every 4 weeks to be on top of your recommended daily allowance.

Service: Vitamin B12 Shots

  1. ‘I hate the dark circles around my eyes’, ‘my eye area is too hollow.’

Why does this occur?

Well…to put it in layman’s terms, when there is volume lost under the eye, it creates a hollow appearance, which in turn gives it a darker appearance. Just imagine a pillowcase without a pillow…I hope that gives you a better understanding.

Here is a quick home remedy to assist with fading away those dark circles:

  • 2 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Honey

Apply the paste on the dark circles and leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Thank me later!

Let me let you in on a little secret…to deal with the loss of volume under the eyes; you could have your tear troughs filled with dermal filler. This will fill out the volume loss nicely and create the plump you need under your eyes.

Dermal fillers are made from hyaluronic acid. Thanks to its ability to store moisture, hyaluronic acid aids with giving the skin a more rejuvenated hydrating look.

Service: Dermal Filler – Tear Trough

5. Plucking way those drastic stray hairs – a little tip:

Shape your eyebrows as you would with your eyebrow pencil. Next, clean it with outlining the shape with your concealer. If there are any stray hairs within the concealer, simply pluck it off. A little tip which makes a big difference.

Now, tell me that’s not simple!

If you’d like a little lift to your brows, you could consider having Botox to create that brow lift; resulting in a more open eye and an arched eyebrow.

Service: Botox – 1 area (Brow Lift)

Bonus tip:

This is for the Entrepreneurs and those starting new business ventures. I will highly recommend Modern Communications (@mxdrnuk on Instagram), which is a brand that helps to bridge the gap between brand and culture.

Additionally, @gb.beats on Instagram are doing online make –up tutorials, to have us slaying once this session is over.

Stay home, stay safe and keep slaying!
