The first-ever Pan-African virtual conference, Fix-It Conference, organised by The Ark Coaching Company, took place on Saturday, July 4, 2020. It was a mind-blowing and transformational event. There were mind-shifting sessions with the best coaches out of Africa.

The Conference started with a welcome speech by Olori Boye-Ajayi, after which Boye Ajayi, took on the topic, “who wants to be a millionaire”, where he talked about how time should not be wasted as it is an asset.

Award-winning keynote speaker, Kwame Opoku from Ghana, extensively discussed the topic “Developing the mindset of a futurist ” and he emphasized about how technology is future and how people can work better so that robots won’t take over their jobs in the nearest future.

The sales guru herself, Just Ibe, charged entrepreneurs with her topic “Unpacking the sales toolkit”, where she challenged people in business to give more value and how to go about it.

Debola Deji-Kurunmi, popularly known as DDK, dissected the topic “Africa on the map”. She passionately talked about being a part of the system in order to make positive changes.

Asides the coaching sessions, there were breakout sessions, as well as questions and answers segments where the moderator, Toyosi Etim-Effiong, asked the coaches questions that the participants sent in and also talked about how the educational system should be improved.

At the end of the conference, the participants gave testimonials about how the Fix-IT Conference was indeed a life-changing experience.
