Cardi B and Travis Scott to headline ‘Made in America’ music festival

Cardi B and Travis Scott have been announced as headline performers for the eighth ‘Made in America’ annual music festival. The 2019 edition of Jay Z’s ‘Roc Nation’ produced concert will take place at Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia and will be livestreamed on TIDAL.COM/MIA.

Joining the Grammy winner, Cardi B and nominee, Travis Scott, on stage will be, James Blake, Kodak Black, Jorja Smith, Blueface, Pink Sweat$, Jacob Banks, Grace Carter, Tierra Whack, Roddy Rich, plus a slew of other performers.

The two-day scheduled musical concert (Aug.31 and Sept.1) will once again benefit the ACLU of Pennsylvania as its official charity partner. A portion of net proceeds will also support ‘The Reform Alliance’. Chiming in on the purpose and success of the concert by far, Roc Nation disclosed in its released announcement, “A primary goal of Made in America is to have a positive impact on the communities involved. Since the inaugural two-day concert in 2012, the event has generated $102.8 million in economic impact for the city.”

Already basking in on the benefits of being a Tidal and American Express card member, individuals under the mentioned platforms enjoyed a special ticket presale that began yesterday (April 2) and will run through until Thursday (April 4, 10 am ET). Tidal members will also have access to an array of exclusive benefits. The general public will have access to ticket sales on Friday, April 5 at 10 am ET at Ticketmaster.com.
