Beyoncé wax statue takes over Queen Elizabeth’s spot at Madame Tussauds museum

In the midst of music royals, Beyoncé is a verified Queen. ‘Queen Bey’, as her Beyhives affectionately call her has finally taken over the royal space of Queen Elizabeth II for a day glory.

For a temporary exhibition at the famed wax museum ‘Madame Tussauds’, a new Beyoncé statue costumed with her Coachella cropped sweatshirt paired with denim cutoffs is placed right in between British royals; Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton (a spot for Queen Elizabeth II). Beyoncé’s addition to the royal’s statues is explained by Steve Davies, General Manager at Madame Tussauds as a special homage to the living legend (Beyoncé).

“Beyoncé is a living legend, rightly crowned Queen Bey by her legions of fans and industry insiders. If anyone is fitting of a claim to The Queen’s spot in our attraction for the very first time, it’s Beyoncé. HRH Queen Elizabeth II is famous for her mischievous sense of humor and we think a wry smile will cross her face when she sees that music royalty has temporarily filled her shoes. In the words,” Davies continued. “In the words of Beyoncé herself, Her Majesty is most definitely ‘irreplaceable’ so Queen Bey will take her spot for one day only before her figure is moved to own our music stage.”

Posted on Instagram by Madame Tussauds captioned, “It’s time to bow down to THE QUEEN.” “Take your throne, Queen Bey.”
