Kacey Musgraves and others win big at 2019 Country Music Awards

Country music fanatics gathered on Wednesday night for the 53rd annual Country Music Awards (CMA). The award ceremony which took place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville was hosted by multiple CMA winner Carrie Underwood, who was again up for entertainer of the year, album of the year and female vocalist of the year.

The night ended with Gart Brooks winning the big prize as entertainer of the year for the seventh time. Grammy award winner, Kacey Musgraves also won the female vocalist of the year and music video of the year for ‘Rainbow’. Luke Combs was announced winner of the male vocalist of the year category, whiles Marren Morris won for album of the year with the ‘Girl’ album.

Kelsea Ballerini, Brooks & Dunn with Brothers Osborne, Garth Brooks with Blake Shelton, Dan + Shay, Lady Antebellum and Halsey, Old Dominion, Blake Shelton and Thomas Rhett, Musgraves and Willie Nelson, shared the big stage as performers of the evening.
