According to the report, Harris was found dead in her car outside her Valencia home late Tuesday. Investigations into the cause of death have already started with the high of chance of it been a foul play ruled out of the investigations.
Prior to the death of Harris, the mother of three was in legal battle with Mayweather in a defamation suit worth $20 million against the former. Ruling into the case had already begun and postponed to December this year for trial.
The case between the now late Harris and Mayweather dates back to 2012, where the boxer served two months in prison on the grounds of breaking into the Las Vegas home of Harris at midnight in 2010 and attacking her in front of their children. The claim was testified to be true by their then 10-year-old son, Koraun who witnessed the attack.
Harris dated Mayweather on and off from 1995 to 2010. She is survived by Koraun Mayweather and Zion Shamaree Mayweather, and a daughter, Jirah Mayweather.
