DJ Khaled, Diddy amongst big names performing at Super Bowl pre-show concerts

Music’s best and good are lining up at different concerts in celebration of 2020 Super Bowl week.

Booked for shows ahead of the halftime performance apart from Shakira and Jennifer Lopez are; DJ Khaled, Diddy, Cardi B, Lady Gaga, Chris Brown, Snoop Gog, Shaquille O’Neal, Lizzo, Post Malone, Guns N’ Roses, Maroon 5 amongst other A-listers.

On Khaled’s busy week of performances, the rapper will mount the stage at the Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest’s EA Sports Bowl, the VEWTOPIA Music Festival and Rolling Stone’s party. He recently took home a Grammy for best rap/sung performance for ‘Higher’.

Cardi B will join Wiz Khalifa, Charlie Puth and Ozuna at the celebration concert for the upcoming film ‘Fast & Furious’ to perform. Stars of the film Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, John Cena and Tyrese will be in attendance.

Gaga will feature at the AT&T TV Super Saturday Night concert, held a day before the Super Bowl 54, whiles Lizzo sings at the SiriusXM & Pandora Opening Drive Super Concert Series and again at the Planet Pepsi Zero Sugar party, alongside Harry Styles and Mark Ronson.

Diddy, Pitbull and Diplo are also scheduled to perform at O’Neal’s carnival-themed music festival ‘Fun House’. Decided by the former basketball player, all proceeds will the families who lost loved in the helicopter crash that killed Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna. Part of the proceeds will also be donated to the Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Foundation.

Post Malone will hit the stage for Bootsy On the Water, a Bootsy Bellows pop-up, which will be hosted by Kevin Hart. Swae Lee, who collaborated with Malone on the hit “Sunflower,” will host an event to launch his shoe collection with Giuseppe Zanotti.

“Oh yeah, we’re definitely celebrating (this) week. I remember Super Bowl came here 10 years ago and it was a special time. We want to make this special, too,” Khaled said in an interview with The Associated Press. “I’m excited it’s in Miami.”

The 54th Super Bowl will take place on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at the Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, Florida, United States.
