American rapper A$AP Rocky, is being detained in a Sweden police center on suspicion of assault. He was arrested late night Tuesday, July 2.
In the early hours of Monday morning, a recorded video popped up on social media showing the rapper grabbing a man and tossing him several feet. Contrary to the posted video, A$AP himself shared on his Instagram story the action that led to the assault showing clearly the man in question together with another gentleman and a lady following and repeatedly harassing him and his entourage after several blocks’ walk.
Inside the A$AP captioned video, “Hits security in face with headphones then follow us”, both A$AP and his bodyguards upon several encounters tell the men they don’t want to fight them, but their warning went unheeded, which resulted to the man smashing one of A$AP’s bodyguards with a large headphone.
Details of the current state of the assaulted man is not made public by the police, except for the order which called for A$AP’s arrest for the assault by the Stockholm Prosecutor Office. A$AP pleads not guilty as he wrote “I’m Innocent”.
